Shortly before the most contemplative time of the year, we let the cat (or bear) out of the bag: Mosaic Distribution is now taking over the distribution of the iconic streetwear label “The Dudes” from Berlin.

The label with the bear logo was founded by two ambitious dudes who have a few things in common: Art, design, music, tattoos, culinary delights and the attitude of not taking the bitter-sweet life itself too seriously.

At first glance, this potpourri of interests reads like an intellectual outpouring on the chalkboard in front of a trendy, hip Berlin coffee (one with a fixie bike hanging from the ceiling). And The Dudes would probably agree to this theory and think it’s extremely humorous, because self-irony is key for them. But fair enough: The Dudes Factory network is huge and really includes all those components of their creative life, which they seem to pursue with constant ease. Aside from textiles, they run a flagship store in Berlin and London, run the record label “Dirty Melody” and create fantastic food in the “Pfefferberg” market hall. How much can you get out of 24 hours a day? Yes.

This particular The Dudes humor is visualized in a unique and unmistakable style: namely that of the co-owner and the well-known artist McBess. And it is precisely this influence that makes the label an icon, whose collections continually create complete “worlds”. And despite all the self-irony: The world of The Dudes is a positive community and a network of homies that includes all genders. All collections are designed with a unisex approach.
